At Epic Dog, dogs don't just get "let loose" on a field while the humans wait on a bench. The Epic Dog park is a living space where dogs and humans learn to move through the world together. 🌿🐶 We watch. We join in. We play. We learn to read our dog and what he is saying. To understand how the group works. To know when to step in… and when to simply let it happen. Because a supervised dog park is not chaos. The point is not to "wear the dog out" for an hour. It's a place where dogs can explore, play, sniff, rest and talk to each other naturally, with humans who are present and involved alongside them. The point is to build social experiences that are good ones.

My business partner, and my shelter dog.
Lina turned my life upside down. With her I had the worst of both worlds: terrified in town, hunting in the countryside. I tried to fix her. Until the day I looked at her differently and finally saw something else: a dog who knew exactly who she was. She wasn’t waiting for me to change her. She was waiting for me to understand her.
So I learned. Three trainer qualifications and hundreds of hours in the field later, we get each other. And these days we love this life. What a road it took to get here. What she taught me doesn’t fit inside any single method. Living with a dog is the whole picture. A lifestyle.
Epic Dog exists to pass that on to teams who want to live the life they dream about, together.

Frequently asked questions
At Epic Dog we prepare teams to handle their everyday life, not just an exercise. Plenty of dogs already know "sit", "down" and "stay". And yet, the moment the environment gets more interesting, it all seems to evaporate. Why? Because knowing how to perform a cue and knowing how to move through the world are two different things. What we are after is a dog who can think, adapt, handle his emotions, make good calls, and properly enjoy life with his human.
A trained dog knows how to follow a cue. A balanced dog knows what to do when nobody gives him one.
Usually, yes. In fact, a lot of dogs labelled "difficult" simply need to learn a different way of moving through the world. Every activity is set to the team’s level. The goal is never to set your dog up to fail. It is to let him build confidence, skills and independence, one step at a time. Because at Epic Dog, adventures are not a reward you earn after the training. They are part of how the training works.
I am based in Buggingen, where France, Germany and Switzerland meet. Sessions take place in southern Baden-Württemberg, between Freiburg, Müllheim and Bad Krozingen. Good news if you live across a border: I speak English, German and French, so teams from Alsace and the Basel area are very welcome.
