2. Hosting
This site is hosted by Hostinger (Hostinger International Ltd.). When you visit the site, the server automatically processes technical data (IP address, browser type, operating system, date and time of access) in log files. This data is used solely to deliver the site securely and reliably, and is not cross-referenced with other sources. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR (legitimate interest). A data processing agreement (Art. 28 GDPR) has been concluded with Hostinger.
3. Contact by email and WhatsApp
If you contact us by email or WhatsApp, your information is kept in order to handle your request and is not passed on without your agreement. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Please note: the site only contains a link to WhatsApp; as soon as you click it, WhatsApp's privacy rules (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) apply.
4. Online booking via Cal.com
For appointments we use the Cal.com service (Cal.com, Inc.). When you book, the data you enter is processed: name, email address, phone number and information about your dog (name, age, sensitivities or reactivity). This processing serves the performance of the contract, that is, making and holding the appointment. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. Booked appointments are stored in our calendar (Google Calendar, Google Ireland Ltd.). Please note: with US providers, a transfer of data to the United States cannot be ruled out; it is based on the EU standard contractual clauses or on the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
5. Pre-register list (online course)
If you sign up to the pre-register list, your first name, your email address, possibly your dog's name and your language are stored. The data passes through Google Forms into a Google Sheet (Google Ireland Ltd.) and is used solely to let you know when the online course launches. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR (consent). You can withdraw your consent at any time: an email to info@epicdog.eu is enough.
6. Payment processing (Stripe)
For online payments we use the provider Stripe (Stripe Payments Europe, Ltd., Ireland). When you pay, your payment data is processed directly by Stripe; Epic Dog never receives your full card details. Legal basis: Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR. More information: https://stripe.com/privacy.
7. Cookies and analytics
This site uses no tracking or advertising cookies, and no analytics tool that sets cookies. Only technically necessary cookies may be used.
8. Fonts
This site uses the IBM Plex Sans typeface, hosted locally on the server. No connection is made to third-party servers (Google Fonts, for example).
9. Social media
This site contains links to the Epic Dog profiles on Instagram and Facebook (Meta Platforms Ireland Ltd.) and on YouTube (Google Ireland Ltd.). No data is passed to these services unless you actively click those links.
10. Your rights
You have the right of access (Art. 15 GDPR), rectification (Art. 16), erasure (Art. 17), restriction of processing (Art. 18), data portability (Art. 20) and objection to processing (Art. 21). You can withdraw your consent at any time, with effect for the future. Requests to: info@epicdog.eu. As Epic Dog is established in Germany, this is the competent authority.
11. Retention period
Personal data is deleted as soon as the purpose for storing it no longer applies, unless statutory retention obligations prevent this (tax retention periods for invoicing data, for example).
12. SSL encryption
This site uses SSL/TLS encryption. You can recognise an encrypted connection by the “https://” shown in your browser's address bar.
13. Governing law and authoritative language
Epic Dog is established in Germany: data processing is governed by the GDPR and by German law (BDSG). This English version is provided for your convenience only and is not legally binding. In the event of any discrepancy in interpretation, the German version alone is authoritative.
